I just spend 1.5 hours on the streets of campus taking pictures of strangers for homework. so i was photographing my friend Alex (briefly) at the end. i asked him to come down for 2 mins from his dorm. he was on his way to the gym. just as I finished, this guy with a guitar comes up to us (this was like 1 hour ago so 8:30pm) and here’s the convo

G: Are you just taking pictures of people?
M: Haha…no. I know him. But I desperately asked him to model for me. Why? Do you want me to take your picture?
G: Kinda….yeah. (I AM SHOCKED)
M: Alright! You have a guitar, perfect ! I need to take pictures of “blur”

So then I take pictures of him. I asked him if he models often/why he wanted to. He said he has sat for an hour while someone drew a portrait of him, so yeah he has modeled. But he saw me from afar and was having a crappy day and thought it might be better if he were in my pictures. Then he said he was really glad he did it because I made his day infinitely better. I was FREAKING TOUCHED.  And I told him likewise. 

THIS GIVES ME HOPE that my dreams of being a street style blogger can actually come true! Too bad street style in college campuses = sweats/nike shorts. 

But actually though….so begins my obsession with strangers. Forreal. Here’s an outtake from our “photoshoot”. I like his eyes btw.
