anyone got suggestions of things to see between Houston and Santa Fe?
i’ve got this so far:
-MARFA lights? (saw them when I was really young)
-hot air balloon ride through rio grande gorge
this is so i can remember it
11-2pm lunch and making a sentimental video/speech for my dad
2:30pm- leave for Houston
6:24pm: arrive JUST before the salon closes
8pm- SURPRISE party for papa where all our family friends get more drunk than EVER. honestly never been around them that drunk. especially my dad. but he enjoyed it a lot!
midnight: go to shaguna’s
midnight-2am: drive here and there and back and wear other people’s clothes and watch youtube videos and volcano burritos and sitting on car roofs and charlie mcdonnell and designated driving and spooning and “no homo” and moaning???? and parents and turning 50
2:30am: finally in my bed in my room with my dog. BUT i have to get up at 8am to drive BACK TO AUSTIN!!!!!!!!!!!
2:30pm Saturday- LAC overnight retreat! whatwhatttt
literally spent less than 15 hours in Houston…..I’m trippin. road trippin. but yes! g
On a highway that was underground
There was no light that we could see
As we listened to the sound of the engine failing”

i mean besides texas of course, i wouldn’t have picked any place other than here.
Why do you love Texas so much?
Houston is pretty awesome—IF you have a car and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS stay in the air conditioning.
It isn’t naturally pretty—but it has kickass architecture sometimes.
THE WORST PART—IT’S HELLA HUMID—BIKING/WALKING/BEING OUTSIDE IS DEATH
i REALLY wish my parents had brought me up in California. PERFECT weather.
texas weather SUCKS. SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.
other that than, cost of living is pretty cheap and Houston has a lot of diversity—so that’s cool.
